Hayagreeva



Ingredients:

1. Channa daal(kadale bele) : 1 cup
2. Grated coconut/copra  : 1/2 cup
3. Jaggery : 3/4 cup
4. Ghee : 1/2 cup
5. cashew and raisins
6. Cardamom powder







preparation method:

1. Wash channa daal and soak it in water for 30-40 minutes
2. Cook the channa daal  with adequate water in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles or in a vessel. don't overcook the daal.
3. Once the daal is cooked add sugar, ghee, grated coconut, cardamom powder and mix well.
4. Take ghee in a  small kadai and add cashews and raisins. Garnish the hayagreeva with this.

Now tasty hayagreeva is ready
